in Sétif, Algeria. Sétif

is a university city with about 230.000 inhabitants,
located in the north eastern part of Algeria, approximately
300 km east of Algiers on the highway to Constantine.
Today about fourty thousand students strong,
the Ferhat Abbas University of Sétif
UFAS (www.univ-setif.dz)
opened in 1978 and is organized around six faculties:
1) humanities and social sciences
2) engineering
3) natural sciences
4) economics
5) medical sciences
6) law
